On June 23, China Algae Industry Association held a standard seminar in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The seminar examined and approved the group standard of "Quality Grading of Kelp Seedling Raw Materials and Quick-frozen Kelp Seedlings", and discussed the group standard of "Brown Algae Extract - Fucoxanthin". Zhao Li, Minister of Quality Management Department of Jiejing Group, attended the latter meeting and reported the relevant revision of the standard.

The group standard of *Brown Algae Extract Fucoxanthin* (T/CAIAS 001-2021) was issued and implemented on January 1, 2021. This standard is proposed and standardized by China Algae Industry Association, and jointly drafted by Jiejing Group and other units. According to the relevant provisions of the *Measures for the Administration of Group Standards of China Algae Industry Association*, this standard needs to be reviewed and revised. This meeting carried out in-depth discussions on the basis of the preliminary revised text, and formed relatively consistent modification opinions. The drafting group will further modify and improve the standard text according to the discussion opinions, form a draft for public consultation to collect public opinions, and accelerate the progress of the standard revision work.
