From 1968 to Jan.1969, in order to relieve tension of iodine, the chemical workshop was set up in Rizhao winery Factory with national funding, the production of iodine, mannitol and sodium alginate started.
In May.1976, Rizhao County Winery Factory was relocated, the chemical plant remained unchanged (Rizhao Haiqu Road), it possessed RMB 1,173,700 in fixed assets, annual output of RMB 1,014,900, profit RMB -41,000.
From Mar.1991 to Aug.1992, the plant was moved and expanded when most of national seaweed processing enterprises switched to other products. Alginate plant, iodine & mannitol plant, packing plant and new office building were built. The company stepped into a new level.
On Jun.28 1993, as the second batch of pilot joint-stock enterprises in Shandong province and the first batch of pilot joint-stock enterprises in Rizhao City, the chemical plant was reorganized as Rizhao Jiejing Group Corporation. It was the first joint-stock enterprise in Rizhao.
In Dec.1994, the enterprise obtained the self-supported import and export.
In Nov.1995, the enterprise passed the ISO9002 quality management system certification, becoming the first certified enterprise in the field in China.
On Jun.30, 1996, the State Councilor and State Science and Technology Commission Director Mr. Song jian came to the company for research.
On Apr.18, 1997, as the only one listed enterprise in Rizhao, “Jiejing shares” warrants were listed and transferred in the Qingdao Securities Trading Center.
In Apr.1997, it was renamed Shandong Jiejing Group Corporation by the approval of Structural Reform Commission for the sake of further norm on enterprise.
In Apr.1998, Jiejing was listed as one of the 136 Shangdong Key Enterprises.
On Oct.18, 1998, Wu Guanzheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party committee, came to the company for research.
On Mar.23, 2000, the Chinese Academy of Science and the Third World Academy of Science Academician and the Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy of Science Researcher and former Shandong Provincial People’s Congress Deputy Director Dr. Zeng Chengkui, the Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy of Sciences PH.D. Adviser Prof. FeiXiugeng, and the Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy of Sciences Prof. Fan Xiao came to our company for research.
In Oct.2000, Jiejing convened the Stockholders & Property Rights Policy Reform Meeting, all the state-owned shareholdings were replaced one time.
In Jun.2001, Jiejing passed ISO14001. We were the first enterprise to get the certification in the field in our country after first getting the ISO9002.
Form Mar.2007 to Oct.2008, Jiejing completed the project of "7500MT sodium alginate and Related High-tech Algae Products”, which was listed as the " double hundred" project (Rizhao Key construction projects, Shandong Key construction project).
From May.2012 to May.2013,”annual Capacity 2500MT Fiber Grade Sodium Alginate Preparation industrialization Project" was completed. The leading project realized the transformation from traditional product to “high, precise, deep” in seaweed processing industry.
On Sep.2012, we cooperated with the listed company “Qingdao Huaren Pharmaceutical Co., LTD” successfully, and transferred the stock of wholly-owned subsidiary company “Shangdong Jiejing Pharmaceutical Co., LTD”.
On Jul.8 2013, leaders of China Algae Association visited our company.
Since 2014,Jiejing has built propylene glycol alginate and fucoxanthin workshops of industry leading level, and top grade sodium alginate producing workshop using different seaweeds. These achievements has laid a solid foundation acceleration of innovation implementation and transformation of sustainable development strategy.
On Nov.26 2015, former vice-chairperson of the Cppcc. Bai Lichen, visited our enterprise accompanied by officials of provincial and municipal Cpcc.
On Nov.15, 2017, Liu Xingtai, the former Secretary of Rizhao City Party Committee, visited the company and encouraged Jiejing Group to make high precise product, striving to be model enterprise of Rizhao city.
Qi Jiabin, the Secretary of Rizhao Party committee, greeted specially-invited talents and experts presented on Jiejng Group Marine Health Industry IT Forum on Mar.4 2017.
On Apr.17 2018,vice chairman of Provincial CPPCC, Han Jinfeng visited the company for research.
On Dec. 11, 2018, the forum is held by Rizhao private enterprises to celebrate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up at Rizhao Seaview Garden Hotel. As a representative of the older generation of entrepreneurs, chairman Lin made a speech.
On Dec.20, 2018, the seventh member congress of the China Algae Industry Association was held in Qingdao Huanghai Hotel. CEO, Lin Chengbin, was elected as a member of the Seventh Council, the chairman and party secretary, Lin Hefeng, was employed as a consultant to the seventh Advisory Committee of the China Algae Industry Association.
In Dec.2018, the company was recognized as a class III enterprise of hazardous chemicals safety production standardization by the State Administration of Work Safety.
On Feb.18, 2019, 《Notice on publishing the list of industrial enterprises and industrial projects to be key cultivated in Rizhao》 issued by Rizhao government, and Jiejing was listed as the leading enterprise to be key cultivated.
On May 16, 2019, the joint founding meeting was held by Shandong Medical and Health Industry Association, sharing economy branch, artificial intelligence branch, healthy food branch in Shandong Deheng (Jinan) law firm. Jiejing was elected as the vice president unit of Shandong Medical and Health Industry Association, Health Food Branch, and CEO Lin Chengbin, was elected as the vice president of the branch.
On May 23, 2019, a press conference was held by Shandong government, announcing the first pilot demonstration enterprises and projects of "modern advantageous industrial clusters + artificial intelligence", the project of Jiejing "integration and application of intelligent production system for algae refining" was included.
On Jun. 2019, Shandong Oceanic Administration and Shandong Development and Reform Commission jointly issued the notice announcing Shandong Marine Engineering Technology Collaborative Innovation Center in 2019. Jiejing was approved as Shandong seaweed Refining Engineering Technology Collaborative Innovation Center.
On July 30, 2019, Wang Liang, deputy secretary of the party group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial People's Congress, and his party came to the company for investigation.
On August 8, 2019, our product of printing and dyeing grade sodium alginate passed the Eco-Passport certification for the first time. Eco-Passport certificate brings to dye and auxiliaries manufacturers the international authoritative recognition of the ecological safety performance of chemicals, and it is a guarantee and value transfer of the ecological safety performance for the downstream printing and dyeing enterprises.
On October 12, 2019, the official website of Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the "Notice on the Announcement of the Tenth Batch of Provincial "Specialized and New" Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises List", our company was included.
On November 4, 2019, Yuan Peiquan, deputy director of Shandong Provincial Department of Finance, Song Jibao, deputy secretary of the party group of Provincial Department of Natural Resources and director of Provincial Oceanic Bureau, came to the company for investigation.
On December 10, 2019, the 2019 Shandong Provincial Government "Qilu Friendship Award" awards meeting was held in Jinan. The specially-appointed experts of "Taishan Scholars" recommended by our company won this honor.

On February 2, 2020, the company donated more than 600,000 yuan worth of “Algae Story” kelp polysaccharide, “Blue Ocean Story” and marine health food to the Rizhao Economic and Technological Development Zone Charity Federation, which will be targeted for those duty personnel who fight against the epidemic and the difficult groups.
On March 13, 2020, Zhang Hui, Secretary of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee, visited the company for investigation. On July 26,2020, the STS regional key project "Integration and Demonstration of Brown algae Rubber Cleaner Production Technology" jointly undertaken by the Institute of Process Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the company passed the project acceptance. The company insists on the deep cooperation between industry, university and research, and enables the traditional production process to improve the quality and efficiency, and has achieved good results in the development of modern Marine industry.
On December 11, 2020, the company sent staff to attend the third meeting of the 7th Council of China Algae Association. The meeting announced the group standard of "brown algae extract cyanaxanthin", which was adopted by our company as the first drafting unit and initiated the application for project approval. After the final approval, the formulation of this group standard was completed.
On January 23, 2021, Shandong Provincial Soil and Fertilizer General Station organized experts to conduct an on-site assessment of our company's organic water-soluble fertilizer project, and passed the on-site acceptance.
The national textile industry standard "Sodium Alginate for Fiber" (FZ/T51018-2020) was officially implemented on 1st, April, 2021. As the second drafting unit, our company participated in the whole draft process of the enterprise standard, association group standard and industry standard.
Yu Guoan, Vice Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference, Qu Wei, Wang Weidong, Li Guolin, Sun Lubao and other leaders of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference came to the company to conduct research on "high-level construction of marine ranches and promotion of high-quality development of marine fisheries" in the morning of April 14, 2021.

On January 12, 2022, the 10th Congress of the Rizhao Federation of Industry and Commerce was held at Rizhao Cultural & Expo Center. Lin Chengbin, President of Jiejing Group, was elected Vice President of the 10th Executive Committee of Rizhao Federation of Industry and Commerce and Vice President of Rizhao General Chamber of Commerce. At the collective talk meeting, Zhang Hui, Secretary of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee, put forward new requirements for the newly elected 10th leading body of the Federation of Industry and Commerce.
The Fifth Session of the 12th Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was successfully held in Jinan, the provincial capital, from the morning of January 22 to the morning of January 26, 2022. On March 25, 2022, the microfilm *Mr. Seaweed*, adapted from real events in the development of Jiejing Group, was officially released. Starting from small details, the film tells the ups and downs of the seaweed chemical enterprise, shows the development of the marine economy, demonstrates the style of the enterprise and entrepreneurs, stimulates the spirit of hard work and promotes positive energy. The film was co-produced by Dazhong Network · Poster News (Shandong Internet Media Group Co., Ltd. Rizhao Branch) and Dongying Rongmei Industrial Park (Shandong) Co., Ltd.
On March 29, 2022, Rizhao Economic and Technological Development Zone held a handover ceremony for the affiliation of enterprise party organizations. The party organization relations of enterprises originally affiliated to the Party Committee of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the Party Committee of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology were transferred to Rizhao Economic and Technological Development Zone. On May 20, 2022, the Rizhao Municipal People's Congress organized the founding ceremony of the Rizhao Green Tea Professional Representative Group at Shanhaitian Yunguoshanqiu Tea Tourism Cultural Park. On May 21, 2022, the "Haiqu · Painting" event co-hosted by Rizhao Daily and Rizhao News Calligraphy and Painting Institute invited two famous Rizhao calligraphers and painters Qin Xutang and Tao Anjin to Jiejing Group, who created a number of excellent calligraphy and painting works with marine development as the theme.

On July 21, 2022, the member meeting and founding ceremony of Rizhao Modern Marine Industry Chamber of Commerce (Association) was held at Rizhao Seaview Garden Hotel. More than 100 people including all members of Rizhao Import and Export Aquatic Products Association and Rizhao Modern Marine Industry Chamber of Commerce (Association) attended the meeting. Lin Chengbin, President of Jiejing Group, attended the meeting and was elected Vice President and Secretary-General.
In September 2022, the official account of Qilu Evening News and Qilu One Point published the article *Shen Jian: Proficiency Comes from Diligence, 39 Years of Craftsmanship Focusing on One "Skill"*, which introduced the deeds of Shen Jian, Director of the Seaweed Processing Technician Studio of Jiejing Group. As a member of the seaweed colloid production team, Shen Jian has focused on one thing for nearly 40 years - how to extract required substances from algae and produce high-quality seaweed products.
At 10 a.m. on October 16, 2022, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was grandly opened, and the Party Committee of Jiejing Group organized all members to listen to and watch the live broadcast. The majority of party members unanimously stated that they will follow the Party's pace forward, always keep in mind the responsibilities and missions of party members, demonstrate the new style of modern marine industry workers of private enterprises in the new era, base on their own posts, integrate the spirit of the 20th National Congress into work and life such as work safety, market expansion, and epidemic prevention and control, and contribute to the sound development of the enterprise.
In mid-November 2022, the work safety information management system constructed by Jiejing Group based on the enterprise's practical experience in work safety management was officially put into use. This system strengthens the monitoring and early warning of key areas, parts and links, and realizes the intelligent and information-based transformation and upgrading of work safety management.
On November 26, 2022, after preliminary application and evaluation and review by a third-party evaluation agency, Jiejing Group obtained the AAA-level Standardized Good Behavior Certificate.
On December 7, 2022, Rizhao Intermediate People's Court held the appointment meeting for special supervisors. Lin Chengbin, President of Jiejing Group, was appointed as a special supervisor and delivered a speech as a representative of special supervisors.
On June 29, 2023, Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Shandong Radio and Television, and Shandong Provincial Quality Management Association jointly issued the *Notice on Announcing the 2023 "Shandong Manufacturing · Qilu High-quality Products" List* (Lu Gongxin Ji [2023] No. 117), which announced the enterprises and products included in "Shandong Manufacturing · Qilu High-quality Products". The food-grade sodium alginate and industrial-grade sodium alginate produced by our company were identified as 2023 "Shandong Manufacturing · Qilu High-quality Products".
On October 9, 2023, the Second Member Representative Conference of Shandong Marine Industry Association was held in Jinan. As a member of the association (participating for the first time), Wang Bin, Minister of the Corporate Development Department of our company, attended the meeting. Since its establishment in 2018, Shandong Marine Industry Association has played an active role in promoting exchanges among member units, acting as a bridge between government and enterprises, and building a marine science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship platform.
In December 2023, the company was selected into the 6th batch of provincial expert service bases by Shandong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.

On May 9, 2024, Xiang Guofeng, Second-level Researcher of the Marine Economy Office of Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, led a delegation to Rizhao to investigate the development of marine characteristic industrial agglomeration areas. They solicited opinions on the *Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of Provincial Marine Characteristic Industrial Agglomeration Areas and the Management Measures for Provincial Marine Characteristic Industrial Agglomeration Areas (Outline)* and listened to suggestions from enterprises in the industrial park. On August 19, 2024, the company's project "Research, Development and Integration of Clean Production Technology for High-viscosity Algin" won the Huaihai Science and Technology Award (Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation).
In September 2024, the company's sodium alginate product was recognized as a "Shandong Manufacturing" brand certified enterprise product (valid from September 2024 to September 2027).
On January 18, 2025, Lu Donglei, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Rizhao Economic and Technological Development Zone, led other leaders to investigate Shandong Hengtai Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Lin Hefeng, Chairman of Jiejing Group, Xu Li, Executive President, and Wang Bin, Minister of the Corporate Development Department, received the leaders. On February 8, 2025, at the mobilization conference for the promotion and improvement year of investment promotion projects in Rizhao Economic and Technological Development Zone, the company was awarded the title of "High-quality Development Excellent Enterprise (Scale Contribution Category)", and Executive President Xu Li attended the meeting.
On June 11, 2025, the company's project "Research, Development and Integration of Clean Production Technology for High-viscosity Algin" won the Third Prize of Rizhao Science and Technology Innovation Achievement.
